Hi Friends!
Yá'át'ééh!!! (Hello), welcome to Beading Soul Creations. Thank you so much for taking Interest in my beautiful creations! My name is Lenaya Tso. I’m a Navajo Woman (Diné asdzáán) Enrolled member from the Navajo Nation Tribe located in New Mexico. I am Nihoobáanii — Gray Streak Ends Clan/Light Colored Soil/Brown Streak Clan born for Tó’aheedlíinii — Water-Flows-Together Clan, my maternal grandfathers are Hashtł’ishnii — Mud/Clay Clan and my paternal grandfathers are Ta’neeszahnii — Badlands/Tangle/Among Scattered/Poles Strung out at the Water/Hogan on the Rock Clan.
I reside in Phoenix, Arizona. A stay-at-home mother of 5 children. I discovered beadwork at the age of 8yrs old. Inspired by both of my parents. My mother who also does beadwork and my father who created beautiful rock art by hand carving colorful alabaster stones with Native American symbols. At the age of 12yrs old I lost my little brother. With a broken heart and a part of my soul was gone, I lost passion in beadwork. So, I put down the beading needle.
20 years later here I am, thanks to my mother who helped me find my way back "home". Beading Soul Creations was founded. Since March 2020 I've found this my new passion in my life. I am honored that my beadwork has allowed me to share my passion, creations with you. I do believe genetic memory plays its part in my gift and I'm so grateful for this. My beadwork is good medicine, I love working with my hands, creating new ideas and to be able to provide for myself and my family.
If you're here for inspiration, to cheer me on, or to buy some beadwork; I appreciate you! Ahéhee' (Thank you).
XoXo!
